IJARST Author Guidelines — How to Submit Your Research Paper for Publication in an International Journal

IJARST (International Journal of Advanced Research in Science and Technology) welcomes original research papers, review papers, and survey papers in Engineering, Science, and Technology. These author guidelines explain everything you need to know to successfully submit your research paper to IJARST — from manuscript preparation to acceptance and CrossRef DOI assignment.

Important: IJARST has no submission fee. You pay the Article Processing Charge (APC) only if your paper is accepted. Indian authors: ₹1,600. International authors: USD $50. If rejected — you pay nothing.

Before You Submit Your Research Paper to IJARST

Before submitting your research paper to IJARST, confirm all of the following:

• Your research falls within the IJARST scope — Engineering, Science, Technology, or interdisciplinary research
• Your paper is original and unpublished — not currently under review by another journal
• Your manuscript is formatted using the IJARST paper format template
• Your similarity index is below 20% — verified with iThenticate, Turnitin, or Grammarly
• Your abstract is 150–250 words and your paper includes all required sections (Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Conclusion, References)
• All authors are listed with full affiliations

File format	MS Word (.doc or .docx) — PDF also accepted
Language	English only (British or American, consistent throughout)

Research Paper Submission Checklist

Use this checklist before submitting your research paper to IJARST to avoid desk rejection:

• ☐ Manuscript uses the IJARST paper format template
• ☐ Abstract is 150–250 words and follows IMRAD structure
• ☐ 4–6 keywords provided
• ☐ All figures are embedded AND provided separately at minimum 300 DPI
• ☐ References consistently formatted in IEEE or APA style
• ☐ Similarity index below 20% confirmed
• ☐ Full author names and institutional affiliations listed for all authors
• ☐ Corresponding author email clearly identified 
• ☐ Maximum 5 authors allowed. Additional authors will be charged INR 200 / USD 10 per author.
• ☐ Paper is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere

1. Acknowledgement — within 24 hours of submission
2. Desk review — scope, format, plagiarism check (2–3 business days)
3. Double-blind peer review — 2–4 weeks by 2–5 subject experts
4. Editorial decision — Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject (with feedback)
5. APC payment — ₹1,600 (India) or USD $50 (International) — only after acceptance
6. Publication with CrossRef DOI — within 6 days of payment confirmation
