Abstract:
Qandilite (Mg2TiO4) pellets have been made by conventional solid state reaction technique on sintering at 1300 ºC. The main focus of this paper is on the morphological investigation of the inverse spinel (Mg2TiO4). The surface morphology of the sample (Mg2TiO4) is investigated by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) which shows the occurrence of curious cubical growth characteristics resembling a spiral like features which have emanated from screw dislocations.
